Resolution: “Faculty on sabbatical or special leaves of absence retain voting and service rights with respect to the Engineering Faculty Council, and they are counted for purposes of determining departmental representation.”

REPRESENTATION OF FACULTY MEMBERS ON A TERMINAL LEAVE OF ABSENCE

Resolution: “Faculty on a terminal leave of absence may not vote in EFC elections, serve on the EFC, and they are not counted for purposes of determining departmental representation.”

REPRESENTATION OF FACULTY MEMBERS IN PHASED RETIREMENT

Resolution: “Faculty whose university appointments are no longer full time (100%) due to phased retirement or due to a permanent reduction in appointment may not vote in Council elections, serve on the Council, and they are not counted for purposes of determining departmental representation.”

REPRESENTATION OF FACULTY MEMBERS ON A PARTIAL LEAVE OF ABSENCE

Resolution: “Faculty whose appointments have been temporarily reduced to a level below 100% are effectively on a partial leave of absence, retain voting and service rights with respect to the EFC, and they are counted for purposes of determining departmental representation.”
